Fintech firm Braviant Holdings understands that to keep employees present and engaged, sometimes employees have to be absent. With that in mind, they've crafted a series of employee-friendly time-off policies, including four "recharge Fridays," when the fully remote company shuts down to allow staff to take care of their mental health. Not to mention that employees are eligible to take a paid four-week sabbatical every five years. "We believe in the value of offering an extended time off to our employees to recharge, pursue their passions and return to work refreshed and inspired," Chief People Officer Ramona Stefan explains.
Braviant also boasts generous and supportive parental leave policies. Both part- and full-time employees receive four weeks of paid parental leave and can work a reduced schedule — three days a week for a month at full pay — when they return to help ease them back into work life.
While Braviant's perks are A-plus, the company is also very mission-driven, aiming to reduce the barriers to credit and borrowing that many Americans face. That's an appealing attribute for many modern employees. "We're not just about the perks, the outings or the cool swag. We're about making a meaningful and lasting impact on the world," Stefan says.
